State Bank And Trust

In 1907,when Winfield State Bank was organized, honor and integrity meant something to a person. In 2011, at State Bank and Trust, it still does. In an age of fax machines, computers, wire transfers, data processing and so forth, we at State Bank and Trust want you to know we have not forgotten old fashioned truths.

Some of our old ways of banking have changed. For example, years ago we were open five days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Now we are open five and a half days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Yet, some of our old ways have remained. Years ago, when a customer came in we knew him or her by name, not just an account number...we still do. Years ago a customer was important to the still are. And years ago the bank was here to serve this customer...and with employees we still try to the utmost of our ability to meet that need.

Your money entrusted with State Bank and Trust is well protected and safely employed, yet readily available when you need it. These and other advantages make having your accounts with State Bank and Trust a good investment.

Ownership of the bank changed in 1979. The bank is currently directed by Don Bussey, who also serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. We are proud to be part of all the communities we serve. We are committed to serving our surrounding communities and tailor our services to meet the needs of, not only our customers, but other citizens of the community. In this area of friendly neighborhoods, churches and schools, we strive to combine the best of traditional banking and continue to be progressive.
